Stand beside him in times of need
and do an act of solemn deed!!
So hail and hearty...
To make sure u remain that way

Get Well Soon
More importantly
Come back Soon
There is no way you can say a NO
Becoz we all need to grow
into individuals of strength
and an inherited current
You are the source of everything
to a group that we tried to bring
to a class we all studied in
like sheets of paper bound by a single pin
Come back Soon
cause there are things waiting for you
6 girls at LH2
and
prayers of our togetherness with you!
Only half the face emerges out of the darkness
Only half the truth emerges out of his words
Rest is what means more to him
to us, to everyone who matters to him the most!
Biker friend...has chosen the right set of wheels to run the world over
Philosopher...has got the right words to win our hearts over
Companion...has held one's hand when one is falling over
Passion has poison hidden within it...drink it carefully
Victory always has a 's'tory missing in it...make your own story
Eyes rhyme with 'I'...they are U
Friend...you have been a rider of the waves

"The car is You, You are the car!"
Samvada 2006 has been a success...what has been heartening to see the way TAPMI has gone about making a difference to the community at large...when i use the word community here,i simply dont mean the society, i am also refering to the Business community, the student community and many other aspects of our economy, which we find very difficult to relate to at many points in time.
OMEGA and TAPMIans have proved that there is nothing called as short-sightedness! There is more to everything that we do...which materialises into events like Samvada!
Kudos to the organisers...you make us proud!
This post comes not as a usual burst of jubiliation over the success of Samvada...but as an after-thought after reading OMEGA's email. What is Management Education all about? I think this email tells us all.
Choosing Mangalore SEZ over Dubai SEZ...everyone contributing to a bigger cause...why do we need societies and fora at TAPMI? Such an expression of commitment proves everything wrong! Thanks or no Thanks...some people still are the invisible hands behind everything...Management is a salute to them!
We learn alot from small things in life...its just that we often fail to use them in our own lives!
Lets strive towards learning to do that...and then,perhaps...i think its wrong now to say perhaps...surely, then we can make a difference in everything that we do!
Cheers.
Excerpt -
"A few months ago, we came up with an idea of conducting a grand event in Mangalore which would benefit entrepreneurs and students alike. At the time, the very thought seemed outrageous as no event conducted by our students had ever been held in Mangalore. To add to this, the challenges were many – the dearth of time on our hands, the source of funding for the event and the sheer scale at which it would have to be held. On the 9th of September, 2006 our dreams were finally realized and Samvada 2006 became a reality and a success.
Why have we declared it a success? One reason could be that since Samvada, many entrepreneurs who attended the meet have come up and requested TAPMI to do projects for them. But we mainly declare it so based on an incident that happened on the day. Midway through one of the presentations, an entrepreneur walked out of the hall and made a call to his boss that a few of us overheard. He told his boss that the event had shed light on the possibilities in Mangalore SEZ and that they should cancel their proposed investment in Dubai SEZ. That one incident justified the efforts that we had put into the event.
But Samvada 2006 would never have been possible without the support of a few people whom it is our pleasure to thank. First, a special thanks to Tanuj and Rahul Jain for the splendid job they did on our invitation and banners. We thank Megha, Ashwini, the junie PlaceCom members and all those involved at the registration desk. We thank Conrad, Bharat, Siddharth and Padmanabha for their help throughout the event. We also thank Amit Kopargaonkar and the members of Alumni Affairs committee for their help in contacting TAPMI alumni and for welcoming the guests. And how could an event possibly ever be conducted without the logistics support of the invisible hands, Durgaprasad and Aditya Aravind? This letter isn’t long enough to include the names of all who have been with us in this endeavor. We thank each and every one of those whose names haven’t been mentioned from the bottom of our hearts.
Regards,
OMEGA"
